Founded in 1999 by visionary health care leaders, CHCA has provided Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and other healthcare organizations with solutions and guidance to advance health information technology. These service have included: implementation and project management, infrastructure hosting, application training, report development, on-going application support services, and consulting and education for various related initiatives.
CHCA is a 501(c)(3), non-profit Health Center Controlled Network, meaning its activities and mission are overseen by FQHC representatives. As such, its primary interests are aligned with the mission of FQHCs to ensure every person has access to quality healthcare.
Working with health center participants to make better use health IT in facilitating their patients' access to their personal health information and while improving online engagement between providers and patients in between visits.
Partnering with health centers in three areas:
Helping health centers use data to improve capacity or further support value-based care initiatives. This includes expanding the collection and utilization of data associated with social determinants of health
Assisting in the adoption and expansion of telehealth (aka virtual) technologies to further health centers' mission in improving patient healthcare access.

CHCA brings the benefit of 20+ years of experience and certified professionals in recognition programs to assist health centers in achieving or maintaining Medical Home and ambulatory designations.
With IT and security-oriented, credentialed professionals leading these efforts, CHCA has conducted over 350 SRAs, over 100 just for FQHCs, and continues to offer its services to health centers in multiple states.
Continuing its services in assisting health centers optimize financial opportunities, CHCA provides consulting and project management for FQHCs to garner Medicaid or Medicare incentives for value based care and interoperability expansion.
